Milton Friedman speaks from the grave on health care

If you haven't seen this, it is eerie how right on the money he is.  But I guess the more things change the more they stay the same.  That reminds me.  Correct principles are the same no matter when they are said, whether by Jefferson, Bastiat, Mises or Milton Friedman, while incorrect  principles are always shifting.  Friedman expounds:
In industry after industry, producers who proclaim most strongly their belief in free markets, have fostered and help produced, government takeover, government regulation, government control.  In the beginning, the government involvement in health care may seem to serve the interest in at least the purveyors of medical care, providing an additional source of finance.  This is a honey which has led persons in industry after industry to support greater government involvement which has ultimately acted against them.

A hat tip to the Humble Libertarian  and the Bluegrass Policy Institute.  If you haven't yet, check out these blogs.  They both promote freedom and fiscal responsibility.
