India to increase power generation to 15K MW of power for the year

India is building power stations at an increasing rate.  This is good for the general infrastucture of the fast growing subcontinent.  I have yet to get the details of the type of power, but you can bet it will be dominated by oil. That should put increased pricing pressure upon oil as it is currently hovering above 100 for Brent Crude.  Via Reuters
India will add 15,000 MW of power capacity in the financial year ending March 30, while it has already added 10,460 MW of capacity till date since April 2010, power minister Sushil Kumar Shinde told reporters on Tuesday.
